More Words

More Words . . . Good Words . . . Words to live by.

After a Saturday of walking around the town to see all the sights and sounds of the 125th anniversary of Port Orchard, I am moving and limping a bit today.    I even brought the walker but it didn't help.   The feet have had it.    I have to tell you I left the camera at home...forgot it...sorry, as there were lots of shots missed.    The crowds came out and it was a beautiful day and the exhibit was spectacular.   The group did a fantastic job and I am sure the whole town is proud of them.    It was fun to see the ladies dressed in the attire of yesteryear and the gentlemen as well.    The men in uniform showed a bloc of tea similar to what was used at the Boston Tea Party; and some other artifacts  used back in the beginning of our history.   Pat and I had to give up the walking and missed a lot more further down by the water front.   Se managed to do the town and had lunch where there are three restaurants, a meat market and a wine shop.    We ordered the sea food chowder which was delicious, filled with shrimp, clams, salmon and a white fish.   We split some fish and chips as well so were well sated and it helped give us a little energy to keep going on the art walk in town.    I'd say the group that worked so hard and put this all together deserves high compliments and a medal as it was a tremendous job and so well done.

Today there is a grand party at the Gallery so we are going to go and see the display and have a little of the special tidbits the ladies put together.  Always delicious and tasty and the company is always good.    The art is tremendous, a lot of talent here.   A few rain drops expected and we can use them so no one will stay in because of a little shower;  they will come out and dance in the rain.

I hope you will go out and dance  in the rain if you are lucky to have some fall in your area.     Make your Sunday peaceful.   Do your best to relax.    Find a moment or two to do just what you really truly want to do and do it.    That doesn't mean you get off with not doing at least one good deed today.    It doesn't mean you can keep YOU  to yourself all day;  what it does mean is that you share YOU with those you love and like.   Be good, be kind, be gentle and fall in love all over again . . .it really can't hurt, not even a little bit.   Hugs to all

We owe them our lives.

Probably be televised so mark your calendar.
