Aware

Now here is a great idea for a snack tray when company comes to share Thanksgiving with you;  change the turkey for a tree and you will have your Christmas treats for Christmas and a bell for the New Year and you have hardly any work to do.   There are all kinds of meat, cheese and crackers to play with.    I may try making one of these.  Want to come?  I'd live to see you.

The handsome marine is home to visit and mom Angie is flying high.   Jason Smith looks so grown up, a far cry from the little guy that used to sit on my living room floor playing with logos with his big brother when they came to visit Gramma Jean in Nevada some years ago.  Way to go Jason, Semper Fi!

A truism . . . makes one look like an 'ass'.

How true!!!   I use little bits of anything handy and the book mark sits right there.

A truism.      When you compliment someone they beam.   It is like giving them a gift.   And a real true compliment is a gift, an inexpensive one but one that lights the inner sense as we all love to bask in the limelight now and then.    Try giving someone a compliment today and watch the end results.    Samantha, one of our lovely working ladies, came in wearing two different very bright and colorful socks yesterday.    I complimented her on her choices and she laughed explaining her dog loves to play with her socks and pulls them out of her sock drawer and hides them.  She didn't have time to go look for a match so just wore what she could find.    A new style . . . colorful and fun.

So your weekend is here.   We have a big to do down town Port Orchard all weekend and I will be going down to attend a few of the special events.    There is going to be a special showing at the Gallery also, so the weekend is going to be a busy one.   Patricia and I went over to Christine's house yesterday afternoon and helped fill the bags with presents for the dignitaries.    I need to get some batteries for the camera and see what pictures I can take so you can see Port Orchard's 125th Anniversary celebration.

What is going on in your town?   Hopefully something fun.    Put your shoes on and get out and treat yourself to lunch out today.    They may have hot dogs and hamburgers to sell.    A parade would be nice.    But catching up with some friends and family members would make your day glow.    Here there will be some dancing in the streets ...I can still sway to music....and I will!!   Don't forget a complement or two as you meet and greet those you like and love.    Reward each one with a bear hug and a smile as it is the nicest and most inexpensive gift you can share.    Be cool . . . be wise . . . be YOU!  Hugs to all.
