Dog Sitting

We have a town some miles away that has lavender fields and they are beautiful;  not quite as luscious as this one pictured but close and special shops to buy the lavender soaps and crèmes along with a lavender ice cream cone.   A good spot to head for when you want to commune with nature.

Blue birds, Love birds, beautiful birds. . . chirping birds, natures gift.

The harmony of color.    I see a bird, a blue bird, the rest must be all beautiful leafy feathers.   I've shown this picture before but I hate to part with the beautiful colors.    It does the mind, the heart and the soul good to commune with such gorgeous colors.

The Milky Way.   Oh to be away from city lights and see this in our sky.    By the way tonight is the big night for the lunar eclipse, so don't forget to go outside and take a peek at the heavens and watch the show!

If you noticed this blog is written on Sunday, but late in the day as I am off to baby sit Emma while Pat and Christine go over to Seattle to a medical appointment and test for Pat in hopes of finding some help for the M.S.    I dread the idea of experimental medication which the doctors are not sure of.  They use the M.S. patients as guinea pigs in hopes of finding a cure.  The sad part is telling the patient that it could have very bad effects on their body, and in this case blindness was mentioned, heart failure, leaving one with the helpless feeling of being between a rock and a hard place.   Pat is tired of being tired. She wants to keep moving and doing as long as possible so she is brave and is going to do what she has to do to survive.   So, now as you are reading this, please take a few moments and say a prayer for some success.    "Ask and ye shall receive"  a promise made;  let us pray and hope for a cure for M.S. and all the other insidious diseases that play havoc on so many folks.    There are so many of us blessed with good health, a gift I'd say.    We don't always think about the folks who have to carry the cross of illness, through not fault of their own, and it is here where we could shine by taking the time to offer a hand, a word, a hug, a treat, anything to make one day as good as it gets for the one suffering.

Bend your knees, lift up your eyes, open your mouth and let the words, the thoughts and the deeds flow as our lists grow every day.    Your health is the most important factor of life.  Without it you cannot say, mean or do all of the necessary second by second living it takes to make your world go around.   Keep an open mind, reach out, in the way you do best.  Go, be good, kind, gentle, and add a little helpfulness in the mix today.    Hugs to all.
