STUFF!!

The Tasmanian Devil is extinct, thank God....what an ugly beast.

If you cannot read then you cannot make those new electronic gadget work properly.    I read but I cannot make them work anyway.

Poor George, we didn't like him but we have learned that what followed in the leadership turned out to be ten times worse.   Oh for a strong leader.

When your granddaughter celebrates her next birthday, do it up in style, that is what Bob and Andy did when their granddaughter turned six.   She was thrilled to see her name up on the billboard.   A memory builder.

Now that is an attitude!!   Try it. . . and find it works.  Cha, Cha, Cha!

Good morning.  WE are COOL!!!!!  The best night in weeks and we have more to come.  How lucky we are.    A quiet day yesterday.   Our 'lunch' yesterday was a complete failure;  not up to par at all; and we three sitting at the table didn't mind saying so.   Institution  food is not good to begin with and once in a while the cooks outdo themselves and at least add a decent desert, but yesterday even the cup cake was inedible. We have meals like that, but not both entrees.   Usually one at least looks better than the other so you make an educated guess as to which one to choose.   In all fairness though we have had some really good meals and the cooks try, but  institution food is boxed mixes for the most part similar to dried 'stuff' and it isn't easy to camouflage .   Don't fret, I didn't starve to death I had some soup in my refrigerator filled with all kinds of vegies so it made a delicious supper and the bought cookies were not bad either.

The puzzle is coming along very slowly.   Just when I think I have found several pieces to fit ...they don't and I have to go on a hunting expedition to try and find the one that truly fits.    A lesson in patience.   Wow...music just burst out of the computer....what is that????  It has been a week of disruption with loud noises or nothing coming from the computer.  That fire in the big green box which melted all the wires did a bit more damage than the experts thought.   It took them five days to find the right box to check out, even though our leader, Karen, called and told them it was the box in front of our building.  At least the telephones are back on line.

Quiet prevails this morning.   The TV is on and I hear them say that Starbucks is raising their prices three percent;  not rich enough I guess.  Maybe they want to slow down a bit and hope the lines will shrink, or gouging the public is their idea of good business this year.    Everyone is thirsty in the summertime but not that thirsty....hope they have sense enough to change their latte experience for some home made coffee or tea;  water isn't all bad either.  I hope folks use their heads and change their preferences and give their hard earn dollars to some company that isn't as hungry as Starbucks.

I am off to Christine's this morning.    I am going to file...one of my favorite things to do.  Putting things in order.    Yes, a good and useful habit, makes it so much easier to find what you are looking for.    It will be good to feel useful today.   So, look around you and find out what you an do.  Maybe you can do some putting things in order and then you will feel like you have accomplished a lot and feel very good about yourself.   It is important to feel good about yourself. . . makes you a better person, a loving individual with thoughts of someone other than ones self.    Sharing is caring and sharing YOU is one of the nicest things you can do.   Go....share YOU.....and a hug or two. . . a peck on the cheek wouldn't be all bad.   I'd stand in line for a hug and a peck on the cheek...Hugs to all.
