Say a prayer or two as you light a candle for those we chose as our representatives....they need it....so do we.
Saturday morning and son Michael leaves for his home. We are going to miss him. Goodbye hugs feel so good but hurt a bit. I just hope he has a good flight and makes it back to his high desert heat without a problem. The airlines seem to be having all kinds of problems these days. Less flights, more money . . . um...I must be in a mood; well politics does create a monster. I had not put any of the current political cartoons for awhile, these are old but the news remains the same as there has been no fixes to the huge problems that have been created over the last umpteen years with more credit going to this administration than most. We have had all kinds of representatives over the years but nothing as brazen and humiliating as this group. The changes promised were a 'given' now we need a new slate to come in and 'change' things back to a constitutional level which worked for over two hundred years.
Think about your vote. Start paying more and more attention to what is going on, and especially so you will know who promises the moon with a fence around it and the one who really knows what is going on and has the mind set to start working towards solutions and not delusions.
Whew, got some politics out of the way just because I get a kick out of the humor of the political cartoonists. You really have to give them credit. It takes patience and fortitude to tell it like it is and a lot of creativity. So be creative today; and see what you can do to make a difference in your world. Be good, be kind and be FAIR. . . the word we hear a lot about which seems to lose its meaning along the way. Maybe you can be 'Fair' today and make a difference in someone's life; a little cheer, a little attention and a lot of true kindness along with a light touch. Go be bountiful, sweet and loving as only you can be. Hugs to all. |
