Truckee up there in the Sierras, California side.    We used to go through Truckee many times on our way to Sacramento.  There was a delightful café there so you could stop for breakfast and it was always delicious food.   Always crowded, one of the best ways to find out if the food is good.   Sometimes a line and you didn't mind the wait.

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where Sheila will head on her vacation soon.   It looks like a great place to visit.   Maybe she will share her pictures and we will learn a little more about this area.

Hawaii. . . that is where Erin and Donaleo are enjoying the sights and sounds.   Wonder if they have added the hula to their repertoire.    Salsa . . . Hula.....lots of swinging and swaying and a lot of fun.

Traveling about is great and if I had the money in the bank to spend, I'd be on the road.    So many places to see, so many things yet to do.    I hope that you are making plans for a vacation and hopefully it will be to some place you have never been.   Be good and take lots of pictures if and when you go.   Send me a few on Facebook so I can share them with a friend or two on my blog.    Just don't waste your seconds, vacations are necessary for the spirit and the body.    If you do not have the big bucks and time for big travel, vacation in your own back  yard and you will find some interesting places to go and to see.  

Don't forget to pack a smile or two.    Smile with your eyes and the response is great.   Hug with your heart and it will create a smile from ear to ear.    As for me, I think I am babysitting Emma today while the girls keep a doctor appointment over in Seattle.  Off on the ferry boat.   Off for a little fun as well.  I think there is a huge book store with a restaurant there and you know they can't miss out on that.
