FIRE

The fires continue throughout the northwest.    We lost a fire fighter yesterday and several were hurt.  A nasty job and one that is so dangerous.  How thankful we are for these men and women who work so hard to keep us safe.

And they get to the bottom of the barrel . . . The Democrats have lost it.   The Republicans not far behind.

An angel in the sunsrise.    A beautiful day to behold.

Faces in the sky.

Our heavens are wondrous from the early morning sunrise to the evening sunset we have a show to delight the senses.

What to talk about this morning.  It is four a.m. and the brain has not awakened yet.   The coffee is delicious and helps to wake up the brain but after a very quiet Tuesday there is no big news . . .not so, the fires are a topic that is frightening as the fire fighters risk their lives to try and put those conflagrations out.   It doesn't take much,  al lightening strike or a careless person with a match or a cigarette thrown out a car window.    So many people have lost everything they own so now is a good time to downsize and donate to the thrift stores so folks can get a fresh start with a few hand me downs until they regroup and can rebuild once again.    Take an inventory of what you have and do not need...we all have ''things' to donate and we would not even miss them.    Another topic we could cover is politics....aha, you cringe.  I don't blame you as the 'team' hunkers down for a place and the Donald spouts to the high heavens with all the magic cures for our country;  and the Democrats are looking backwards for a candidate if Lady Hillary doesn't pull a magic rabbit out of her hat.    Just keep watching and paying attention so you know who not to vote for.    Somewhere in the 'pile' is a man of integrity . . . we hope.  Or we could discuss the weather;  nah, we've done that a thousand times and it doesn't change a thing.   How fast August is going and soon Fall will be here, one of my favorite times of the year.    I'd like a trip to New England and visit good old Rhode Island and see the Fall colors. up close and personal.     Along with Fall comes thoughts of upcoming holidays.   Don't cringe, don't be afraid of them, just start right now preparing and you will be one step ahead of yourself.    Each week when you shop pick up one or two items for the baking you will be doing.   Plan ahead and prepare then you wont have second thoughts about all the coming holidays.   One or two gifts a month, put away;  just don't forget where you put them,  and you will have your shopping done before December.  It all about organization.   Or, you can wait until the  last minute and have the fun of rushing about and driving yourself crazy which I am sure most of us do.   Or we could talk about your health and how important it is you take today to start a regime that will keep you going for a good long time.   Don't wait until you get there as it will be much too late to activate the muscles you should be taken care of right now.   We could gab about your family and friends but it is more fun to spend time with them.   I had a tea party yesterday and Pat and Emma came to keep me company for a little while.  Such fun and oh those hugs mean a lot.   So choose your topic for today and your activities to suit yourself.    Go with a glad heart, and open arms for someone you know and love needs a bear hug today.     Pick up the telephone and call someone.    Take time out to be good to yourself today as you need a little 'care' now and then. . . be a little selfish today and spend some quality time with yourself so you can have the energy and love to share another day.    Be good, be kind, be gentle today to all you meet and greet and you will find a sense of contentment.  Hugs to all.
