A truism.
Political cartoons 'inveigh' (the word for today) protest or complain bitterly or vehemently to rail. You might complain or grumble about some injustice you see, but for a stronger effect, you can "inveigh" against it. And that is what we will have to do if we pay attention to the news of our day. The cartoonist does a great job of keeping us apprised of the goings on in our world.
Here it is Thursday already. We had a sixty degree day here yesterday; felt just like summer. It is strange weather for January, what the old timers would call pneumonia weather as you don't know how to dress when going out the door. I guess layers are still the best way to go. A walk out in the sunshine sounds like a good idea.
So today, put on your shoes and go out the door hopefully to sunshine and warmth, but if some of you are up to your ears in cold and snow maybe you just want to 'hunker down' and stay warm and cozy before a roaring fire in your fireplace. That sounds like fun, wish I had a fireplace. I 'used' to have one and enjoyed using it on cold winter days and I miss it. Pat has a wood stove and invites me over to enjoy the sight and warmth of her fire. Sharing is caring, well you already know that. So today, share YOU with those you like and love. Don't forget to look around and see what needs doing and who needs looking after. A phone call, a drop in visit , a handshake, a hug . . . any or all will suffice. Don't forget to smile with your eyes and enjoy your seconds of today, it is all you have so make them work like magic. Hugs t o all.
