John sent a picture of his berry bush. I bet the birds love this.
Here it is Sunday morning and the weather is turning colder. The forecast is for a bit of snow which may, or may not, reach the valley floor. We really don't get much snow, more like a bit of slush when it does come our way. I'll have to check and see if there is a shovel in the garage just in case we have a surprise one of these winter months. We had sunshine yesterday and the new team of garden workers came and put my yard back in order. Four men who worked quickly and quietly, well not to quiet as the had the electric clippers going full tilt and made the hedge look beautiful and a new shape to it. They sprayed the weeds and clipped the bushes and made short work of the tall grass. A bit pricey but worth it to have dead bushes removed and come Spring I can add a bit of color and find some low growing plants., and, I found a way to pass on some of those Christmas cookies.
Three more days and we have a New Year to look forward to. Get ready to celebrate. Start the plans . . . resolutions you will keep. . . hugs you will share . . . deeds you will accomplish. . . . diets you wont keep . . . and a desire to live life on your own terms. You have lots to do this year so keep Faith, Hope and Charity in your life and share it. Hugs to all. |
