More Orchids

The Dove of Peace

Dance Ballerina, Dance!

Love Birds

The men from outer space!

They are tough, they are strong, they are kind and they are gentle . . . the men we cannot do without.

Let's  take a walk and get a little exercise . . . cheaper by the dozen!!
Good morning.  One eye open.  Coffee is brewing and I am ready to wake up.   The storm is into its third day and although the warnings have been great, the storm has been a not an unusual winter storm.   The ocean has been wild and the fault off of our coast has become silent which is not a good as that means pressure is not being released and when it does it could mean a big earthquake.   I hear the wind talking this morning, so the storm is back in high spirits, maybe it just took the third day to become true to its wild predictions.    Hope we don't lose power today.  I need the bright lights on to see the new Christmas tree puzzle on the table.  It is going to be a difficult one as the picture on the box is all dark blue but the pieces are of a myriad of color.   The frame does not want to go together so far so it will be a challenge and a half.    If you are in the neighborhood stop by and put a few pieces in.  I can use a little help if I want a clear table by Christmas day.

Meanwhile, go have a catch up with yourself day.   I am trying to compose a letter to the editor of our local newspaper as there was a young lady who thinks that the Christmas creche should be removed from the light show at our Azalea Park.   She feels her first amendment rights are attacked and we Christian and Jewish folks should be aware that we are offending her Muslim religion.    I wonder if she is just stirring the pot and hopes to gain some notoriety from her letter.   If she is a true Muslim she is not walking around town in a burka.   I hope she finds better use of her time and doesn't participate in the celebration of Christmas if it offends her.  Want to bet she is first in line for a handout.

I'm off to have my coffee and wake up.   Be good, be kind, be patient with those who are out to make 'a pigs ear out of a silk purse' . . . isn't that an old adage?   Say a prayer or two for patience, understanding and lead the way in being a good example of your Christian principles.   Put out a creche and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.   Bake a birthday cake for the 'babe' and sing out loud.   Be true to your own convictions.    Hugs to all.
